Halloween Craftiness!

My Anaya wanted me to make her a black cat. She found a design she liked in a book I have "The Cuter Book" by Aranzi Aronzo. (see below)

This pattern is about 3 inches tall in the book. She wanted a cat that was 2 feet tall. So I drew on my inner artist and made a pattern. I think it turned out pretty well. Please welcome Smiley, the one and only cat that will ever live in the Miller household. She will be prominently displayed with our Halloween decorations this year.

Stretch Your Stamps Day 12 Combining Stamps

Once again this card class has made me think of my stamps in a different way. I enjoyed taking my sentiment stamp and pairing it with this arrow stamp for the background. I really enjoyed the class and it sparked so many ideas for cards. I cannot wait to make more cards.

Stretch Your Stamps Day 10 Border Stamps

I do not have a lot of border stamps but I did try to use the few I had. I found that using them on a smaller piece instead of the whole card worked out better for me.

Stretch Your Stamps Day 9 Outline stamps

I have a fair number of outline stamps but I decided to pull out stamps I had not used before. I love these animal stamps so I just had to make a baby card with them. I also loved that I got to use water colors to color the animals, so much fun.

Stretch Your Stamps Day 8 Card Label Stamps

I have label stamps but had not used them in quite a while, so it was nice to use them.
Here is my card, its not my best effort but it has given me other ideas.

Stretch Your Stamps Day 7 card

I skipped Day 6 because I do not have a stamp and die cut combo I could use for the card so, I skipped to Day 7. Day 7 we were supposed to use floral stamps, I have TONS of flower stamps but I had never used them for a background on a card. Once again I am learning so much. This card I was especially proud of because its so simple clean. I usually go crazy on my cards but this time I liked that it was simple. I enjoyed using watercolors on the flower and make it it 3D by stamping it 2 times and layering it on the card.

Stretch Your Stamps Day 5 card

This one is my favorite so far, we were using sentiment stamps.

Stretch Your Stamps Day 4 card

This was challenging and fun. I really loved the hexagons, never would have done that without the push from class.

So here is card #2

Stretch Your Stamps Class Day 3 cards

Still working to catch up on my stamping class. Here are two cards I did with alphabet stamps I have never used before. It was lots of fun and gave me ideas for other cards.

Stretch Your Stamps Class Day 1 card

I have stamps that I do not use so I decided to take this class from Online Card Classes.

Day 1 was really tough because we used back ground stamps. I decided that my best approach was to try to use it for something other than a background. I cannot say this is my best work but at least I tried.
